A299 Thanet Way by-pass

The A299 Thanet Way by-pass opened in the late 1990s, the dual carriageway near Whitstable is about six miles long and replaces the single carriageway Thanet Way (now renumbered A2990).

Construction completed in 1998 .

Can be found on Ordnance Survey Landranger Map 178 . See location on map and aerial photo.
