A121 Cheshunt link road

The A121 was constructed in the late 1990s. The daul carriageway is only 1/2 mile long but a few houses in Hedworth avenue and Leven close had to be demolished to make way for the new road.

Construction completed in 1996 .

Houses on the left of this road ( not on photo) and houses on Leven Close will also be demolished to make way for the A121 Cheshunt link road.	Looking from Hedworth Avenue to the flats on Leven Drive. What was part of Hedworth Avenue is now a construction site. The houses shown on the right of the before photo have been demolished.

Looking towards the flats on Leven Drive after the A121 Cheshunt link road has been completed. This part of Hedworth Avenue no longer exists	Looking over a footbridge which goes over the A121 where part of Hedworth Avenue used to be. The Cheshunt link road now carves its way through here.

Leven Close

This photo shows Leven Close.	Leven Close after A121 construction. The dual carriageway runs behind Leven Close. The house at the centre of the before photo has been demolished to make way for the A121 and the house on the left of the photo is now smaller than it used to be.
