A1017 Haverhill by-pass

The A1017 Haverhill by-pass was constructed in the 1990s. The road runs south of the town from a roundabout on the A1307 west of Haverhill to a roundabout east of Haverhill near Sturmer.

Construction completed in 1997 .

These photos (taken between 1995 and 1999) show the Haverhill by-pass at its eastern end near Sturmer.

Under Construction	Completed
A country lane on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford in 1994. Construction of the new housing development has just started.	The view in 2003 shows how what was open countryside is now the St Michael's Mead housing development. The lane is now a no through road.
